LO4 - Proposal for certification classification

Our proposal for the certification of this short film is a 12. This is due to the use of explicit language and the themes presented within the film. We came to a conclusion after the feedback session we had as the majority of the viewers said they believed it should be rated as a 12. We also took information from the BBFC website as advice to decide on our decision. Below is a screenshot of their guidelines for a 12a/12.

LO4 - Offline Edit

The first thing we noticed about this edit is that we need to change the sound of the door. It is slightly too squeaky, therefore finding a more appropriate sound on Free Sound would be better. We had the idea to remove the audio when they are both running down the stairs and setting the clothing on fire, and replace it with sad music in order to create more of a dramatic scene. With the dining room scene we also need to add more stills of James in so it isn't all just Hayley. We need to add the other half of the short film as well and create more transitioning when it comes to the bruise reveal at the end. We will also add titles and credits to the final short film.
